Pearl Rear Vision
The website
“https://www.pearlauto.com” (n.d.) puts
forward the purpose, features and advantages of the product. Pearl Rear Vision is a solar powered backup
camera for cars which provides the driver with extensive vision of the car’s surroundings. With
state-of-the-art image processing of “high dynamic range scenes”, the rear-view
screen is viewable under direct sunlight while the dark mode enables visibility
in inferior light situation. It has a caution system which provides the
driver with an audible and optical caution when there are obstructions to the
lane caused by incoming traffic. The caution may be in the form of a vibration or
sound which becomes firmer as obstacles are in closer proximity. Not only can
the rear view camera be readily installed on the car’s number plate, it is
theft proof and uses the driver’s phone via the Pearl app as a rear-view
screen.
The biggest drawback
about the website is the fact that there was no mention about the cost of the Pearl
Rear Vision. According to (Burgett, 2016) the cost of Pearl Rear Vsion is $500. Comparing
that price to other products from two website articles by (Vazharov &
Stefan, 2016) as well as from (Top 10 Reviews, 2016), it is obvious that an
average backup camera costs much less than the Pearl Rear Vision.
Assuming cost is taken out of the equation it is easy to
understand why Pearl Rear Vision is one of the best backup cameras in the
market. According to (Pearl Auto, 2016), Pearl Rear Vision provides a 180-degree
range of vision which is higher than any other product from the website article
(Top 10 Reviews, 2016). Unlike most after-market wireless backup cameras which
require a complicated installation process with running wires through the car,
the Pearl Rear Vision is absolutely wireless as it is solar powered. (Etherington,
2016) describes the night vision capabilities of the Pear Rear Vision as such,
“better than what you’d get from any OEM backup cam system I’ve used thus far,
let alone inexpensive aftermarket options from Amazon”.
On one hand, if cost is not an issue then the
Pearl Rear Vision is the go to after-market backup camera. On the other hand if cost is
the issue, according to (Gannon, 2016) Pearl provides a three year guarantee
for the product and also according to (Jordan, 2016) in the case of theft, Pearl will replace the
product by sending them the OBD adapter.

Thanks, Karthig, for this effort. You present a good summary, and you have many good ideas in the analysis. What you need to work on is the organization. I'd like to see a clearer thesis set just after your summary. Then you can craft topic sentences that relate directly to that so that your main supporting details have some cohesion.
ReplyDeleteHere are other issues to work on:
1) The website “https://www.pearlauto.com” (n.d.) puts forward the purpose, features and advantages of the product. >>> Name the product!
2) Pearl Rear Vision is a solar powered backup camera for cars which provides the driver with extensive vision of the car’s surroundings.
>>>
(punctuation)
3) to the lane >>> which lane>
4) drawback about the website >>> which website? explain
5) According to (Burgett, 2016) >>> (incorrect citation style)
6) Comparing that price to other products from two website articles by (Vazharov & Stefan, 2016) as well as from (Top 10 Reviews, 2016)...
>>> huh? what sort of citations are these???
6.1) other products >>> which products?
7) an average backup camera >>> What makes one average?
8) Assuming cost is taken out of the equation it is easy to understand why Pearl Rear Vision is one of the best backup cameras in the market.
>>>
Is this your thesis? If it is, the positioning is odd. It should come directly after your summary.
9) citation problems:
--- According to (Pearl Auto, 2016),
--- from the website article (Top 10 Reviews, 2016)
--- (Etherington, 2016) describes
--- to (Gannon, 2016)
--- according to (Jordan, 2016)
10) You need to work on the APA style of your reference list, for alphabetizing, for accuracy in overall form, and for names.
Thanks for your hard work!
